Important Comments: This antibody is expected to recognise isoforms 2 and 3 (NP_005742.4; NP_671714.1 respectively). The isoforms Yotiao, AKAP350B and AKAP350C are not recognized.

Immunogen

Peptide with sequence C-SGSTTQFHAGMR, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_005742.4; NP_671714.1.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Approx 450kDa band observed in lysates of cell line HepG2 (calculated MW of 454kDa according to NP_ 671700.1). Recommended concentration: 1-3µg/ml.
IHC: The staining pattern observed was identical to that obtained with a rabbit polyclonal antibody specific to AKAP350A (to be submitted to a scientific journal).
