Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:16000.
Western blot: Approx 19kDa band observed in Human Kidney and Testis lysates and in lysates of cell line HEK293 (calculated MW of 22.1kDa according to NP_002076.2). Recommended concentration: 0.1-0.3µg/ml. This antibody has been successfully used in WB on Human: Schoenmakers E et al. (2010) PMID:21084748 and Papp LV et al. (2010) PMID: 19803747.
IHC: In paraffin embedded Human Testis shows strong staining surrounding the nuclei of spermatocytes and surrounding spermatozoa. Recommended concentration: 0.3µg/ml.

Immunoprecipitation:This antibody has been successfully used in IP on Human: Schoenmakers E et al. (2010) PMID:21084748.
