Western Blot Western Blot: Preliminary experiments gave an approx 110-120kDa band in Human Colon and Brain lysates at 1ug/ml, however in both cases this was accompanied by a stronger pair of bands at approx 40kDa and 45kDa . Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for these extra bands given the predicted size of approx. 120kDda according to NP_006517. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported? |
