Antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.

Western Blot: experiments gave bands at approx 85kDa, 60kDa and 26kDa in Human Placenta lysate after 1µg/ml antibody staining. These detected bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide. Please note that currently we cannot find an explanation in the literature for the bands we observe given the predicted sizes of 109kDa according to NP_004632 for isoform a and 107kDa according to NP_001009569 for isoform b. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any further splice variants/modified forms been reported?
