Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.
Western blot: Approx. 17kDa band observed in Human Lymph Node and Mouse Brain lysates and approx.16kDa in preliminary testing of Human Frontal Cortex and Rat Brain lysate (calculated MW of 16.7kDa according to Human NP_001614 and 16.9kDa according to Mouse NP_062340.1). Recommended concentration: 0.1-1µg/ml. Primary incubation 1 hour at room temperature.
IHC: Paraffin embedded Human Spleen and Rat Spleen. Recommended concentration: 6-8µg/ml.
