Please note that the band we consistently detect in western blots differs from the predicted size of 69kDa. Currently we cannot find an explanation for this in the literature. However, splice prediction software (http://www.bioinformatics.ucla.edu/ASAP/) indicated the possibility of a shorter isoform. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies? Have any splice variants/modified forms been reported?
