Antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.

Approx. 90kDa band observed in Human Testis extracts and approx. 20-25kDa band observed in Human Testis, Jurkat and U937 lysates at 0.5-1ug of primary. Please note that the bands we observe are differ from the predicted size of approx 80kDa from NP_005968. Currently we cannot find an explanation for this in the literature. However please note that this antibody is also expected to recognise a hypothetical human protein (XP_066217.1) similar to RNF6 and predicted to be 311 amino acids. . In addition, RNF6 has several glycosylation sites. Glycosylation can increase the apparent MW of proteins on SDS-PAGE [Hames, B.D and Rickwood, D., eds. Gel electrophoresis of proteins: a practical approach. Oxford University Press]. We would appreciate any feedback from people in the field - have any results been reported with other antibodies/lysates? Have any splice variants/modified forms been reported?
