Immunogen

a 42-aa long peptide from the heavy chain of human Immunoglobulin M (unconjugated).

Purification

Ammonium sulphate precipitation of serum followed by antigen affinity purification.

Buffer

10 mMTris, PH 8.2, with 150 mMNaCl, 10 mg/ml BSA and 0.1% sodium azide

Storage and Handling

Store at 4°C for short durations. Store at -20°C for longer periods (> 1 month). Minimize freeze thaw cycles.

Applications

Protein ELISA: Human serum IgM detection at 1: 200 dilution.
Peptide ELISA: Antibody detection at 1:128000 dilution.
Immunofluorescence: Immunofluorescence tested on Daudi cells. Recommended dilution: 1:50 to 1:100.
Western blotting : Approx 75 kDaband observed human plasma and serum. Recommended concentration: 0.1-1μg/ml.

Please optimize dilutions for your particular assay conditions. Starting test dilution:1:500 for indirect immunofluorescence.
