Immunogen

Peptide with sequence CPPNKPAESVQSNNS, from the internal region of the protein sequence according to NP_057051; NP_036543.4; NP_001180360.1; NP_001295226.1.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:32000.
Western blot: Preliminary experiments showed a 100kDa band in some Daudi cell lysates at 0.5-1ug/ml. The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings with different antibodies from other commercial sources. An additional band at 75kDa was also observed and both bands were successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.
IHC: Paraffin embedded Human Small Intestine, Thyroid and Adrenal Gland. Recommended concentration: 3.75µg/ml.

Immunofluorescence: Strong expression of the protein seen in the nucleus of U2OS cells. Recommended concentration: 10µg/ml.

Flow Cytometry: Flow cytometric analysis of Jurkat cells. Recommended concentration: 10ug/ml.
