Message from a distributor:
Please could you assist with this technical issue. The customer saw positive staining in the membrane of catalog# EB05513 . Please could you suggest a cause of this. Can you recommend a dilution and enzyme digestion?
Our EB05513 reacts with transcription factor PAX8 and it should be staining the nuclei. This is exactly what we have found in Human Thyroid Gland. It is possible however that this product does not work properly after different epitope retrieval methods. We obtained our IHC data after microwaved antigen retrieval with Tris/EDTA at pH9. A different pH value or a different heating type may result in different results.
I hope this will help your customer further. Please let me know when problems persist after adjustment of the epitope retrieval method.
