Important Comments: May or may not recognize NP_003594 (isoform 2) - although the immunising peptide sequence is present in this isoform, it is not at the N-terminus and so may not be available for binding.

Immunogen

Peptide with sequence SYYQRPFSPSAY-C, from the N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NM_021069.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Western blot: Western blot: Approx 70-80 kDa bands seen in 3T3 Lysates. Recommended for use at 1-3 µg/ml.

Please note that this antibody will recognise one isoform of ARGBP2 (AAH11883), whose predicted MW is approximately 71kDa.
