Immunogen

Peptide with sequence HLSLVCDFSFTEESD, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_036250.2.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000.
Western blot: Western Blot: Approx 37kDa band observed in Human Brain (Cerebellum) lysates (calculated MW of 48.2kDa according to NP_036250.2). The observed molecular weight corresponds to earlier findings in literature with different antibodies (Garbarino-Pico et al, jRNA. 2007 May;13(5):745-55; PMID: 17400819). Recommended concentration: 0.3-1µg/ml.
