Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:4000.
Western blot: A customer observed a band at approx 75kDa in cell lysates of FOXP4-transfected HEK293 and preliminary testing showed a band at approx 75kDa in nuclear lysate of cell line Jurkat at a concentration of 2ug/ml (calculated MW of 73.5kDa according to NP_001012426.1). Primary incubation 1 hour at room temperature. Recommended concentration: 1-3µg/ml.
