Immunogen

Peptide with sequence C-AHPEGKHHSLSFS, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_000206.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Western blot: Western blot: Approx 115kDa and 40kDa bands seen in MOLT-4 cell lysates. Recommended for use at 1-3µg/ml. Overnight incubation is recommended with this antibody.

Please note that, although JAK3 is predicted to be appox 124kDa, Malabarba et al [J Biol Chem 1995 Apr 21;270(16):9630-7] observed it running at 116kDa. We do not know the identity of the approx 40kDa band we observe.
