Immunogen

Peptide with sequence C-GPPGPLGRTAMQ, from the C Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_005532.

Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Western blot: Western blot: Approx 150kDa, 75kDa and 45kDa bands seen in Jurkat lysate. Recommended for use at 1-3µg/ml.

This has to fail as bulk of literature (for e.g., see Lucas et al., [Blood, Mar 1999; 93: 1922 - 1933]) suggests that the isoforms are around 145kDa, 135kDa and 110kDa.
