Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.
Western blot: Approx 26kDa band observed in lysates of cell lines NIH3T3, HeLa, K562, MCF7 and HepG2 (calculated MW of 24.9kDa according to NP_001311.3). Approx 25kDa band observed in Mouse Testis, 26kDa in Rat Testis and 28kDa in Pig Testis lysates (calculated MW of 24.9kDa according to Mouse NP_001290374.1, Rat NP_001030315.1 and pig NP_001138849.1). This molecular weight is routinely observed by other sources. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1µg/ml.
