Purification and Storage

Purified from goat serum by ammonium sulphate precipitation followed by antigen affinity chromatography using the immunizing peptide.
Supplied at 0.5 mg/ml in Tris saline, 0.02% sodium azide, pH7.3 with 0.5% bovine serum albumin.
Aliquot and store at -20°C. Minimize freezing and thawing.

Applications Tested

Peptide ELISA: antibody detection limit dilution 1:128000.
Western blot: Approx 38kDa band observed in Mouse Liver lysates,38+28+18kDa in Human Kidney lysates and approx 18kDa in lysates of cell line K562 (calculated MW of 40.3kDa according to Mouse NP_033531.3, 40.6kDa according to Human NP_001028928.1, 27.0kDa according to Human NP_001165094.1 and 18.9kDa according to Human NP_001273973.1 ). These bands were all successfully blocked by incubation with the immunizing peptide.. Recommended concentration: 0.3-1µg/ml. Primary incubation 1 hour at room temperature.
